We have been running Christian Summer Camps and Weekend Camps, since the Summer of 2000. Personally, I have many years experience of Christian summer camps. I first went to a BCM summer camp when I was 8 years old, and have been to at least one BCM camp each year since. I am now camp director at one of BCM's summer teen camps. The weeks I spent in the summer with other Christian young people, were some of the best times I had as a Christian young person.

Despite calling it CAMP, I've never spent a single night in a tent in all my years at camp :-). We stay in Dormitories or Cabins, and we sleep in BEDS! The BCM camps I am involved with are currently held at two venues, Lapwing Lodge Scout Camp in Paisley, and South Newton Guide Camp & Training Centre in Kilmacolm.

Our camps are run by BCM registered leaders, all of whom have background checks carried out by Disclosure Scotland or the equivalent if they are from out with Scotland. Many of our leaders work in teaching or education, and have a lot of experience of working with young people.
